The Dems condemnation of Walter Reed is yet another smoke screen aimed at bashing Bush. Army Hospitals are notoriously bad within military circles and have been for decades, not only in physical surroundings but in patient care. Also, the bigger the budget cuts, the worse the care becomes. The Dems are more likely to make military budget cuts than Reps so who is to blame? The lower your rank in the Army, the less your care. Children get the best care, soldiers the next best, then retired veterans, and military spouses are at the bottom. In any case the care is based on rank first and foremost.
So, they should look to historical decades long standing policy of medical care in the Army, not at the Bush administration. But then, I’ve noticed the Democrats of today aren’t noticably given to self introspection or looking in real mirrors…
