10 dollars for 3 hours is just about the same cost as an idiling big truck diesel. Most big companies now monitor there engines electronocally to determine just how much time/fuel drivers spend idiling

So? Whose gonna pay it? The companies or the drivers? You can't equivalate the two without answering that question.

Sorry, Bruce. Been working... a lot of it which is a good thing although it does keep me from talking politics.

I have a lot to say, that's for sure.

Steph,

Where are you? I hope that you are ok. (I do really mean that) There has been nothing written here for a week. Everyone seems to be quiet. Steve who recently announced he was back has been silent....Come on Black man speak up......the RWG Susannah who totally ignores me has said nothing (although I understand she is studying for the bar)....the other "typical white person" ....Kathy only shows up briefly every now and then and really does not have too much to say.....well let me see if I can stir up a little conversation.....Today the confirmation hearings start for Judge Sotomayor.....and she has said ......."I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life.".........And I think she has a perfectly valid point.....but I am sure that my "typical white" friends here (and that includes you too Steve) will disagree with me.......

The revolution has been televised......Black in America Baby........

I am familiar with the program you speak of, it's offered by a company called Idle-Aire, Inc. and they are based in Knoxville where I'm from. Now here's the interesting part: The Haslam family owns a large share of Idle-Aire and the Pilot Travel Centers where these units are being installed. One of the Haslam sons is mayor of Knoxville and running against Rep. Zach Wamp (R-TN) for governor in 2010.

My opinion is that this arrangement represents a huge conflict of interest for the Haslams and they should sell their interests in Idle-Aire as soon as possible.
