Agreed. First of all, that video gives me the chills too.

Second of all, like you, I don’t really care if Joel Stein loves America or not. However, it really bothers me if people in power (like President Obama) do not.

That last video gave me chills as it always does. I never ever tire of watching it.

I think we have the answer to whether Obama believes in American exceptionalism. The fact that he can’t answer a simple yes or no question with a yes or no is the answer.

And the fact that there are so many in this country who don’t, like Joel Stein, has never really bothered me until those who not only don’t love but dislike and even hate it got themselves into a position to cause its downfall. I shrugged them off. That was one of the things about this country, that nobody required the person standing next to them in the grocery line or whereever love this country as much as they themselves do.

But I will fight anybody who insists on me disliking or hating my country because they say so. That’s unAmerican.
