Sorry about the late response, Richard. I have family in MS and AL so Gustav was my preoccupation today.

I agree with you. I'm thrilled with Palin's nomination.

You are so right on with your post! The libs are damn scared now, because the Republican party is getting back to it's basics, it is returning to the party of Reagan. But this time, we have a woman, who has more balls than all of the democrats put together!

God bless Sarah Palin, and God Bless the United States of America!

BB, Bush doesn't take counsel from Senators very often. McCain was pushing the surge a long time before Bush finally agreed to it. McCain may very well know how to get BinLaden. Only time will tell.

He's no mirage. If I know anything about the guy, he's not that.. I wish he were sometimes because I'll still be gritting my teeth over his immigration reform and his big business stances.

As for the globalist claim. That all depends on how you define the word. Obama is a globalist no matter how you define it. That's what his whole speech in Berlin was about: One World Government.

Well, I suppose...if its necessary, meaness is OK.. You could use satire, example:
"Conservatives have good reason to be concerned about John McCain. At the top of my list:
He’s a globalist.
He’s an unconscious incompetent. " HB 3/31/08
"In short, no matter how you look at it, McCain is a mirage when viewed from all sides." HB 2/4/08
"To Senator McCain: If you know how to get Bin Laden and win the war on terror, you’ve had seven years to present your knowledge to the president and the Secretary of Defense" HB 1/11/08
....see, we DO agree!

BB, Rove has nothing to do directly with McCain's campaign. He's a Fox News contributor these days and whether he likes it or not he has to tell the truth because Fox does fact checking.

In less than four months Bush will be headed back to Crawford TX. Rove has already moved on.

You gotta let go of BDS. That kind of hate hurts the Dems more than it hurts either Bush or Rove.

Politics is a dirty profession. We've seen some real ugliness from both parties, including Daily Kos' claim about Palin's infant son.

No matter what else comes about, I really don't want a whiner in the Oval Office.

Obama is a first class whiner. First, he whines about the "attacks" on his wife, then turns around and attacks McCain's wife even after the attacks on his lovely wife stopped. Then he whined about the Annenburg files and threatened media outlets and private individuals. When that didn't work he tried to sic the DOJ on them.

McCain on the other hand, took his MSM lumps, after an initial reaction, and worked around his limitations. He stole Obama's press with his VP announcement and Obama whined about that, too. On top of the whining he made a huge gaff for which he is trying to "redefine" his statements. That makes him a whining bully, which is pretty much what all bullies do when they are confronted. He can dish it out but can't take it when it's served to him as well. All the Democrats know how to do anymore is breed hate.

The Dems picked a loser. Sorry. Try again next time and try to find somebody with some "balls."
