Over the years, there's one thing I've noticed. Politicians going to Washington to change it usually wind up being changed instead. Will Rogers once said, "The only things in life that are certain is death and taxes." He's right, except for one tiny point... taxes last longer than life because you're taxed if you die, too. We lost today. On Fred08 they're talking abut 2012 but I doubt I would sign on for a Fred 2012. If he had gone the distance and lost that would be on thing but he didn't. After 6 open primaries, he's out. A future run would have many of us wondering if it's going to be a repeat of '08. Perhaps this country is too far gone for any help in that regard. Very right. The way I have been putting it is that Fred did not have fire in his belly to be president. Fire in the belly is a long time desire to do something. You will say anything or do anything to accomplish your dream. Fred's fire is in a much purer place. It is in his heart. Fred's lifelong devotion to his country and his deep love for his children and grandchildren are the reason he is running for president. He knows that he can make this great nation stronger and safer both physically and economically. It will be better for generations to come. You are right. Very right.
