Fred picked up the endorsement from Rep. King in Iowa today. Romney thought it was his. MSNBC, the only media outlet that mentioned it got it wrong and had to retract.

Now, CQ said it wasn't that big a deal and perhaps it isn't nationally but for the state of Iowa it's supposed to be a big deal. Like Rush Limbaugh, I wouldn't write Fred off just yet. He's just getting started.

I'm leary of all the reporting on Fred. Online polls suggest that he is the leading contender. He has been campaigning in SC - and will probably take that state if people suffering from the Huckaboom come to their senses.
FDT is also hitting the ground in Iowa with no less than five stops per day. (so much for the lazy and tired meme) I expect the Romney/Huck slugfest to benefit Fred.

We'll see. That fat lady aint singing yet, she aint even hummin'.
