Illegal Aliens in the meantime…
I came across this article today and I just had to say something.
The part that really bothered me was this:
“We strongly protest the unilateral measures taken by the U.S. Congress and government that have only persecuted and exacerbated the mistreatment of Mexican undocumented workers,” he said. “The insensitivity toward those who support the U.S. economy and society has only served as an impetus to reinforce the battle … for their rights.”
He also reached out to the millions of Mexicans living in the United States, many illegally, saying: “Where there is a Mexican, there is Mexico.”
One person asked, “Does this constitute an invasion?”
I’m also asking, “Does this mean we should exercise our Second Amendment rights to enforce our border and insure the nation’s security? Must we prove again where our borders begin?”

“Does this constitute an invasion?”
Well, we sent about one hundred and fifty thousand men and women when we invaded Iraq so I would say…yep, there’s about 11,850,000 people more than needed for an invasion! Or, to put it another way, it is an invasion times eighty!
Oh, and Calderon is a moron.

Hi Steph,
Yes I do believe this does constitute an invasion on our sovereign nation.
Yes we should exercise our Second Amendment rights to enforce our border and insure the nation’s security!
I think we have to prove where our borders begin and if their lucky maybe we won’t decide to take their Country just for the sure hassle of it all.

Mexican Truckers Question The Rules of The Road…
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has a helpful FAQ section for the Mexican truckers hoping to haul freight across the United States under NAFTA as early as this Thursday.
Here are just a few of the questions I find interesting …

I just read that on your blog and am so angry I can’t think of a polite response so I haven’t commented anything, Christi.
I know immigration has always been an issue dear to Bush’s heart but this is beyond compassion. He has given the country away. He might not look at it that way but those of us who really have to deal with them on a daily basis do know it.

Steph, I know what you mean but I’ve decided to laugh – or else I cry. But I found something to add to Calderon’s stupid statements…. Elvira Arellano is now angry at Mexico! She doesn’t think Mexico should have to ask permission from the U.S. to send her back across the border!

One of the bloggers who submits to Real Clear Politics for votes said that essentially Mexico declared war against the United States, when Calderon uttered those words. I’m inclined to think that way, too. Arellano’s attitude just reinforces my opinion.
Unfortunately for us, we don’t have any leaders with the “balls” to call him on it.

Calderon can protest all he wants – I’m not sure if he actually declared war with his comments or if he was just pandering to his population that truly believes we owe them half of everything we’ve have worked for in the name of equality. And I guess you have to ask; why would he declare war on a nation that has already surrendered?

“…why would he declare war on a nation that has already surrendered?”
True, but I haven’t surrendered a darn thing and I know a lot of other people who haven’t either.
Whether he meant it that way or not, it can be taken as a declaration of war and somebody ought to call him on it… but, like you said, the government has already surrendered.

You know what? Maybe we ought to thank this chucklehead. Every time he opens his mouth, he gets the attention of – and pisses off – average Americans that may not have been paying attention. Calderon and Arellano may be the illegal aliens worst nightmare! lol

Happy Birthday, Steph! I hope you are taking the day off and being totally pampered! May God bless you with happiness and prosperity for many, many years to come!
