Glad to hear it, Steph. I think we all be having problems with eating at restaurants if this keeps up. Heck, we can't even be sure about the food we buy at the grocery store anymore.

I've been to two restaurants in St. Louis in the past month where I had to speak Spanish just to ask where the restroom was so I could wash my hands before I ate...it is ridiculous. One was a Mexican restaurant but the other was a well known Steak House! In Missouri! But I'd rather have to ask for el bano than go through what James went through, that's for sure...

Glad you ladies enjoyed the post.

Christi, James is much much better. Still a little queasiness from time to time but staying well hydrated, which is important. We thought it would be a nice break for him to buy from the lunch truck because the location of the construction site doesn't give them opportunities for eating at restaurants and he does get tired of packed cold lunches. Never again, though, never again!

Lol Kathy, well said...there's not much I can add to that...

Steph, I hope JC feels better - I was wondering where you ran off to. I figured you had to take some time to clear your head of all of the political BS - I have to do that a lot...that's why I don't post on the weekends. Good to see you back and thanks so much for the link. Homeland security? Yeah, right.

Lots of great stuff in that post, hillbilly! I loved Steyn's piece too. Then today I read about someone who was so ugly she had to whip her butt to get it to go to bed with her face.

One wonders what the DA would have to say about that? It's fratricide I tell ya, fratricide. LOL.

The government must convince us that it is smarter than us or it can't take away more of our freedoms - thus the nanny state is always there telling us not to drink hot coffee or use our toaster for a windmill and other bits of uselessness. (But sex with infinite partners is ok)

If they can convince us we are our own worst enemy (a la global worming, or whatever) then only they can save us from ourselves. They never stop to think we're currently wondering who will save us from them.
